Laser-Assisted Root Canal Therapy (LARCT)

LARCT is a dental procedure in which a dentist uses a laser to clean and disinfect the root canal system of a tooth. The goal of this therapy is to remove the
infected or inflamed tissue from inside the tooth, and to sterilize the area to prevent further infection. The laser energy is delivered through a small,
fiber-optic tip that is inserted into the tooth, and the laser energy is used to vaporize the infected tissue. LARCT is typically used as an adjunctive procedure to
traditional root canal therapy, and is believed to offer a number of benefits, including improved cleaning and disinfection of the root canal system, reduced pain and
swelling, and faster healing times.
